Rolling Stones challenged by rain, back in Sao Paulo after 18 years

The legendary British rock band ‘The Rolling Stones’ was challenged by harsh rain during their concert in Sao Paulo, Wednesday, where they returned after 18 years to electrify their fans in Brazil’s largest city.
The Morumbi stadium, which will see another concert by the legends on Saturday, on Wednesday hosted 65,000 people who did not stop singing and cheering for Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood currently on their ‘Latin America Ole Tour 2016.’

“It is incredible to be in Morumbi for the first time. 18 years, right? I am so happy.” said Mick Jagger in Portuguese before singing ‘Out of control’.

The last time the Rolling Stones were in Sao Paulo was back in 1998, playing in the Ibirapuera Arena.

As part of the tour in Brazil, The Rolling Stones, who already played on Feb. 20 at the legendary Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro, will also perform on Mar. 2 in Porto Alegre.
