The National Puerto Rican Day Parade is a celebration of the Puerto Rican community that draws around 1.5 million spectators to watch floats, bands, dancers and dignitaries parading on Fifth Avenue. This year the parade had the participation of important people in the community such as Zuley Karivera, Carolina Gaitán, Carmen Villalobos, Ismael Miranda and others.
