There is not doubt that soccer is one of the most important passions in the latino community. The World Cup is one of the events most waited for soccer lovers and for every single person from the country playing at the World Cup.
World Cup 2018, which is played in Russia, has been an example of how Latinos unite during the event. The teams playing from Latin America have brought tears, smiles and joy to millions of people around the world. Peru was classified after 36 years without going to a WorldCup, and even though it did not pass to the next round, thousands of fans welcomed them back home with a tremendous joy.
The countries from Latino America that got to the next round are: Argentina, Uruguay, Brasil, Mexico, and Colombia. The two first games were on Saturday, and Argentina was eliminated with a score of 4-3 against France, and Uruguay, which won against Portugal.
The next games are: Brazil and Mexico this Monday at 10am, and Colombia vs England, on Tuesday at 2pm.
