Paula Bermudez is a medical Garifuna student and model from Truinfo de la Cruz, a village locate in Tela, Atlántida Honduras.
Miss Heritage Honduras 2017 has an older brother girl and 3, younger sisters, both of her parent are of Garifuna descent.
Born in the beautiful tropical city of Tela in the Garifuna Community of Truinfo de la Cruz, growing up here would shapeople her dream of becoming a model and a doctor.
This will lead her to study medicine in the prestigious Hunter College in New York City, model for Italian show designer Pamela Quinzi, Swimwear designer from Uruguay, Daysi Fernandez, Henrry Meza ,from Honduras.
Since she was little girl her dream has been to represent her culture, and my country in a beauty pageant. In Honduras this can proof to very challenging dream but not impossible.
Her mom migrate to the United State with hard work she was able to bring her, and her sibling to live and study.
“When i came here i didnt know English, so i learned English, study hard and graduated from High School International Community High School, afterward attended college and got my associate degree in Medical assistant”
