Can You Escape New York City?
Ford Motor Company and the I LOVE NEW YORK campaign joined forces with Escape the Room creator Victor Blake this weekend to bring a unique Escape the Room driving experience designed to introduce the new Ford Escape SUV 2017.
Our team at MY Lifestyle Magazine had the opportunity to experience it firsthand at the Moynihan Station in Midtown Manhattan. We escaped the entire 30 minute course with a sense of relief and pride knowing we had successfully made it out of there feeling like winners – but it wasn’t easy!
Participants were given at least 5 minutes in each room to figure out the puzzles by using the vehicle’s latest technologies to help find clues and advance through the course. The limited amount of time everyone had made the experience exciting and that much more intense where quick thinking was vital for passing each round.
This interactive team-based game put the high-tech features of the new Ford Escape to use introducing the hands-free, foot-activated liftgate and the enhanced active park assist designed to attract today’s savvy millennials. The new Ford Escape also includes other exciting features like the Digital music and streaming radio from iHeartRadio via SYNC® AppLink™ to make your traveling experience worthwhile. Learning about the new highlighted features of the car guided participants through the game where some triumphed while others unfortunately couldn’t make it past this challenging course.
Ford and I LOVE NEW YORK’s unique idea was created to encourage participants to explore all of the diverse tourism destinations New York State has to offer. “Ford knows the experience will inspire consumers, especially millennials, to find their own adventure, and we want to help them get there,” said Ginger Kasanic, experiential marketing manager at Ford.
This outstanding event gave all participants the chance to experience what it truly feels like driving the new 2017 Ford Escape SUV. If this is Ford and I LOVE NEW YORK’s way of encouraging everyone to explore new destinations all over the Empire State, then today’s millennials will find their own adventure fascinating in Ford’s latest model.
