U.S. star Jennifer Lopez is scheduled to perform in Israel this summer in what will be her first concert in the country, Israeli media reported on Monday.
Lopez, 46, will perform at an open air stage in Hayarkon Park in Tel Aviv, which can accommodate tens of thousands of people and often hosts international artists.
According to Yediot Aharonot newspaper, the singer will give a concert and though the date has not yet been finalized, it should be before fall.
After October, the cold weather will make it impossible to host an outdoor concert and it would not be profitable.
Despite never having performed in Israel, the singer has captivated the hearts of thousands of Israelis for over 15 years, not only with her music but also with her Latino character.
