Gaga took the stage on Sunday in a scarlet suit, as she played the piano and sang the national anthem, while both teams waited to get on the pitch.
Actress Marlee Matlin joined Gaga to perform the anthem in American Sign Language for hearing-impaired fans.
Gaga’s Super Bowl performance is just the latest in a string of successes for the pop diva.
Last month, she won a Golden Globe for her performance in ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’. She is also nominated for an Academy Award for the category of Best Original Song for ‘Til It Happens to You’ from ‘The Hunting Ground’.
