Whistle-blowing website Football Leaks released on Monday the contracts signed by the Colombian James Rodriguez with Real Madrid as well as the contract of Slovenian goalkeeper Jan Oblak with Atletico Madrid, both signed in July 2014.
The website revealed that the Colombian international signed for six seasons in exchange for a salary of 7 million euros ($7.7 million) in the first season and 7.76 million euros ($8.6 million) for each of the following seasons.
Moreover, a monthly payment of 6,000 euros ($6,681) is added, plus the premiums given to the whole team.
Meanwhile, Oblak’s salary mentioned in his six-year contract (2014-2020) amounts at 1.5 million euros ($1.6 million) net per season.
Atletico divided the salary into three parts: 500,000 euros ($556,827) payable on payments for ten months (50,000 euros ($55,682) for each month), a direct transfer of 500,000 euros before Jan. 5, and another transfer of the remaining 500,000 euros just before the season ends in July.
A premium of 300,000 euros ($334,260) is also mentioned in the contract for every season in which the keeper participates in at least five games.
