Shannen Doherty Battles Cancer In The Best Way Possible

She’s a #warrior

Shannen Doherty, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, is keeping herself strong, and positive in the best way possible! The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress has been documenting her fight against breast cancer through social media and is spending most of her time staying active after her chemotherapy sessions.

“I believe that moving helps so much in the healing process… it’s not always easy… but I try to make an effort to get the blood flowing and the toxins out of my body through working out,” she expressed on her Instagram profile.  Doherty’s inspirational videos really demonstrate that giving up is not an option.

Last week, Doherty participated in the #loveyourspousechallenge where she shared her wedding picture with a touching message for husband Kurt Iswarienko. “Our wedding was exceptional and not for the big event it was. It was exceptional because we committed for better or worse, in sickness or in health to love and cherish one another…,” stated Doherty. She ends her loving message by expressing how blessed she feels to have her soulmate by her side.

The 45 year old actress continues to smile and show her bravery through this journey. Doherty is currently spending time with loved ones, who’ve shown their support since day 1. She recently posted a beautiful selfie with her mother stating, “sometimes you just want to collapse on the couch and watch tv with your mom. I love you mom.” Keep on fighting Shannen, we support you every step of the way.
