1 – What’s the definition of your American Dream?
The American dream is the belief that anyone regardless of where they came from or what culture and background they have, can achieve their own version of success in an environment where the impossible can be possible.
2 – What makes your immigrant story so unique?
I was born and grew up in a small city in Syria. As that boy at a young age, I knew I wanted to be a dentist, a superstar dentist! If I close my eyes and look at where I came from and what I have accomplished. It’s a dream come true. I am so blessed.
3 – What are the barriers you had to overcome?
I moved to the United States in 2011 and I could not speak English at that time, facing the culture and language barriers, tons of obstacles, and facing the people saying “NO! You can’t! You won’t make it!”, But you work hard on yourself and you show them the opposite.
4 – Who inspires you the most?
Every successful story inspires me, and it gives me a push to work harder. Every time I chase my dream and reach the destination of success, I ask myself: what is next? And I prepare to take it to the next level. The sky’s the limit.
5 – What makes you a pro in what you do?
I always teach my students that when you want to do something, do it right, but focus on one thing and master it.
