Pop singer Madonna visited several orphanages in the Philippine capital, where she will be performing two concerts Wednesday and Thursday as part of her Rebel Heart world tour.
Since her arrival in the Philippines Monday, the pop star has posted several photos on her Facebook page which show her posing with children, who were victims of abuse and trafficking.
“Hats off to the Bahay Tulyan Foundation in Manila for taking so many kids off the street and providing food and shelter!” wrote the singer with one of the photographs she posted Tuesday.
In addition to the Bahay Tulyan Foundation, Madonna also visited the Hospicio de San Jose, located in the heart of the Philippine capital.
“Celeste gives me the guided tour of Hospicio de San Jose. Run by nuns with love,” wrote the American singer along with another photo which shows her strolling hand in hand with a Filipino girl while carrying a baby in her arms.
The Rebel Heart Tour, which is the 10th tour of Madonna’s career, began September in Montreal, Canada, and will conclude in the Australian city of Sydney on March 20 following performances by the singer in over 50 cities.
