Porto’s veteran Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas and Spanish sports journalist Sara Carbonero got married in secret on Mar. 20, Hola magazine reported on Tuesday.
The magazine explained on its internet edition that the wedding party was only attended by the newly wed 2-year-old son Martin.
Hola added that friends and families of the couple did not attend the ceremony that was held at the Boadilla del Monte court to formalize their relationship, which began in 2010.
The magazine highlighted that the couple’s close acquaintances learned about the good news only few days before they got married.
Casillas and Carbonero are currently expecting their second child.
